Les Piascik

Councillor

Les and his family and have lived in Loughton since 1996, and their three children went to school locally. After 25 years service in Local Government, Les retired in 2013 from his role as a Health, Safety and Quality Manager.

Les was on the Parent’s Association of Loughton Manor First School (LMFS) when the school opened in 1997 and has subsequently been a governor at the school. He has also been a school governor at Loughton Middle School between 2001 and 2014. Prior to his youngest child attending the local infant school, he was on the management committee of the local pre-school at the Memorial Hall in Loughton.

Les and his wife and are keen gardeners and have an allotment at Greenhill Close in Loughton, they also volunteer at Bradwell Abbey as part of the Friends Group, helping with community events.

Les is an enthusiastic walker and has an interest in natural history, as well as local history.

Les believes it is vital to maintain, and improve the natural and human environment of the Parish.
