The Children of Loughton School on Tuesday 16th April 2013 with their Teachers, and staff From Milton Keynes Council had an enjoyable time planting seeds in the Millennium Meadow on Loughton.

The weather was lovely which also helped and all the Children really took to the task with great enthusiasm.

The Children will be coming back to see how things develop in the future.

The Parish Council at its last meeting agreed to fund some fruit trees to be planted in the meadow, with all this activity going on the area will be a great place to visit when we get some nice weather.

So thank you to the Children of Loughton School for all their hard work on the day.

The Loughton and Great Holm Neighbourhood Action Group will also be carrying out some maintenance as well in the future so thanks to all the hard working volunteers who will be undertaking this work.
