Councillor Andy Sargent

Andy is retired following a career in the motor industry – initially in retail and subsequently for the past 30 years working for manufacturer import organisations. During the last 25 years of those years, he was employed by one of the world’s largest motor manufacturers based in Milton Keynes.

Andy moved to Bradwell Road, Loughton 10 years ago where he and his wife have lived ever since.

Andy has become quite attached to Milton Keynes in general and Loughton Parish in particular. Having grown up as a ‘Local’ close to Crawley New Town during its construction he can see where Milton Keynes – despite it’s ‘New Town’ status works in harmony with its surroundings.

This harmony is something he would dearly like to maintain and being a member of the Loughton & Great Holm Parish Council (along with several other local organisations including the Milton Keynes Parks Trust) allows him the opportunity to actively do something about it as well as taking forward the concerns of fellow parishioners.
